Santorini is what dream vacations are made of. As much as I would love to give a detailed must-do guide, I encourage that you come here to completely let go and that’s where the magic will happen.
Here is my guide for Santorini ( beware it is short )
1.) Relax at the hotel- sounds so simple right? but often times I find myself feeling guilty if I hardly leave my hotel. Don’t feel guilty! This is the vacation that you don’t need a vacation after 🙂 Santorini is so picturesque that I am sure there are a ton of beautiful hotels all over the place. With a view like that, what wouldn’t be nice? After lots of review scouring and picture surfing, we came to a decision to stay at the Katikes Hotel. It was perfect. The service was impeccable. At first I wanted to stay in more central Oia by the windmill but this location was even better. A little bit away from the heavy tourist area but walking distance if you craved a little action.
2.) Lunch at Amoudi Bay- Nikos by the sea. The lobster pasta is divine! Worth the carb splurge for sure!
3.) Sunset cruise – My favorite activity ! Still relaxing but you get to explore other parts of the island that you wouldn’t get to explore on foot. Sometimes it can be difficult to set aside a whole day on a boat when you have to little time. I think the half day sunset cruise was plenty of time to see everything. Plus it is super romantic 😉
Red beach reminded of red velvet 🙂
Even though Santorini is small, it is packed with attractions. We were only there for a couple of days so I think I squeezed just enough in to fall in love but also, not to overwhelm myself. What are your favorite places to go in Santorini?
